The world's most expensive school. Boarding-only. Both IB Diploma and French Baccalauréat. Deep tradition (founded 1880), exceptional facilities, alumni networks unmatched in international schooling. Suitable only for families committed to elite boarding-school culture and price.
Aiglon College
British boarding school in the Swiss Alps. A-Level and IB Diploma. Strong UK and US university destinations. Alpine setting, distinctive outdoor and character-development culture.
College du Leman (CDL)
Multi-curriculum day and boarding school. American HS Diploma, IB Diploma, French Baccalauréat. Boarding option from Year 7. Strong international cohort balance. Versoix location with school-bus catchment across Geneva.
Geneva English School
British primary and lower-secondary school. Strong English-medium provision for younger years. Children typically transition to Aiglon, BSL or Ecolint at Year 9. Good fit for primary years particularly.
Institut Florimont
Catholic French-curriculum school with IB Diploma option. Strong academic outcomes. Particularly good for francophone families and those wanting strong French-language secondary alongside IB.
International School of Lausanne
Worth the 60-minute drive from Geneva for some families. Strong IB programme, balanced cohort. Lausanne lifestyle alternative to central Geneva. Particularly good for families based west or commuting from Vevey/Montreux.
British School of Geneva
Pure British curriculum option in Geneva. A-Level outcomes consistent. Smaller cohort than Ecolint but with focused academic culture. Good fit for British-bound families.
Cross-border France: Lycée International de Ferney-Voltaire
Public French lycée 5km from Geneva with strong international sections (English, German, Spanish). Outstanding outcomes at near-zero fees. Many Geneva expat families enrol here and commute children across the border.
