Why Hong Kong is strong for IB

Hong Kong's English Schools Foundation (ESF) consciously moved its secondary schools to IB Diploma over the early 2010s, creating one of the largest IB cohorts in any single education system globally. Alongside ESF, several premium private schools (CDNIS, GSIS, ICS, Renaissance, Discovery) run IB at high standard. The combined effect is a deep teacher pool, mature exam preparation infrastructure, and parents who understand the system.
