The Milan school context

Milan hosts a mature international school market driven by corporate relocations into Italy's financial and design capital. The strongest schools cluster in the western suburbs (San Felice, Opera, Lainate). Italian state schools are excellent and free, but the language barrier makes international schools the default for short to medium-term expat families.
