The Zurich school context

Zurich's international school sector serves the city's deep banking, tech and pharma corporate base alongside a long-established expat community. ZIS dominates Tier 1 with three campuses; smaller schools fill specific niches. Swiss state schools (in Swiss German) are excellent and free, but typically too challenging linguistically for short-term-stay expat families.
