The Jeddah school landscape
The flagship is Jeddah Prep & Grammar School (JPGS), the heritage British school for Jeddah's diplomatic and business community. American International School Jeddah (AISJ) serves the US-curriculum community. British International School Jeddah (BISJ) is the BSO-accredited British IB flagship. Continental School Jeddah (French/British/Arabic) and KAUST Schools (King Abdullah University compound) round out the international tier.
Jeddah is more lifestyle-friendly than Riyadh, with Red Sea swimming, dining and outdoor culture. Many corporate and diplomatic families prefer Jeddah for these reasons. School fees are similar to Riyadh, slightly lower at the British and bilingual end.
