The Prague school landscape
The flagship is International School of Prague (ISP), founded in 1948 and one of the oldest international schools in Central Europe. Park Lane International School is the British IB flagship. The English College in Prague is a selective British senior school. Riverside School, Prague British International School (PBIS), and The Prague British School serve the wider British community. Lycée Français de Prague serves the French community.
Czech state schools are free, excellent and increasingly bilingual at primary level. Many expat families use the Czech state system once children's Czech is strong, supplemented with weekend mother-tongue language classes.

Prague 6 (Nebušice, Hanspaulka, Dejvice) is the heart of expat family Prague, home to ISP. Prague 1, 2 and 5 (Vinohrady, Smíchov, Malá Strana) appeal to families wanting central historic living near Park Lane. Prague 4 (Modřany) hosts Riverside School. Prague 6 (Bubeneč) hosts Park Lane and English College.
